In&Out - How to wear Colors

Premetto che non è un post dedicato al Color Blocking che già non se ne può più ma ai colori in generale, dunque troverete anche abbinamenti con nero o bianco (che non vengono MAI usati nel color blocking).

Intanto per chiarire le idee di tutte quante su cosa sia un color block:

- Non si usa mai un NON colore (dunque niente bianco o nero)

- Non si usano le sfumature di un colore già presente (dunque niente blu e azzurro, niente fucsia e rosa pallido)

- Si usano colori saturi, molto carichi e luminosi (se avete qualche dubbio su colori e contrasti, andate QUI)

- Si chiama color blocking quando si utilizzato da 3 colori a salire (attenzione a non pasticciare)

Il Color Block non se lo sono inventato le fashion blogger, e se è per questo, neanche Gucci quest'anno. Nasce da un'idea per un set fotografico d'impatto che non ha l'ntenzione di ispirare le clienti a vestirsi come arlecchino ma di invogliare ad usare colori vivaci e saturi al posto del solito nero invernale e bianco estivo. La Wintour nel 2007 lo usa su Vogue ma anche prima di lei, il color blocking esisteva già..

Before start I've to say is not a post just about "Color Blocking" 'cause is begin so annoying..!! It's a post about colors and how to wear them, that's why you'll find also black and white (never in color blocking).

Just to clean your ideas, that's some tips about C.B.

- Never use a non-color like white and black

- Never nuances of color

- We use saturated color, string and lightly (if you've any doubt about colors and contrast, just click here)

- C.B. is when we've 3 or more colors (but pay attention to the clown effect)

The Color Block is not an idea from Fashion Blogger, and not from Gucci as well. It born from a photographic impact idea and doesn't want to push the customers to buy dresses like clown but just to give an idea to wear other color that are not black in winter and white in summer. In 2007, Anna Wintour used this kind of styling for Vogue but she's not the first, color blocking was just there from years..

Nelle settimane precedenti, abbiamo parlato di "classificazione degli stili" QUI e QUI. Oggi ho deciso di parlavi del colore e dei suoi possibili utilizzi a contrasto. Ovviamente non sono nozioni che mi esco dal cappello ma lezioni ed esperienze sul campo in quanto studentessa e addetta al settore nel campo della consulenza d'immagine. Spero che questa nuova rubrica sull'Image Consulting vi piaccia ma soprattutto vi torni utile.

Some weeks ago we talked about "different styles' list" HERE and HERE. Today I decided to do a "Color lesson", how to use it and how to make right contrast. Obviously I'm not improvising, I know these things 'cause I'm a student and I'm starting to work in this world. I hope this "Image Consulting corner" will be usefull and lovely for you.

Primary: Red - Yellow - Blue

Missoni - Inside&Outside -

Missoni, marchio che mi piace molto, riserva sempre la parte del chiostro dell'Università al pubblico che vuole assistere alle sfilate. Purtroppo, forse a causa del freddo, le modelle hanno sfilato per noi comuni mortali, solo per l'uscita finale. E' stato molto bello comunque. I tessuti erano leggeri e svolazzanti, colori pastello, frange e volant erano in contrasto con le tendenze primavera/estate viste a Settembre e che venivano sfoggiate, nonostante il gelo, da ospiti sprezzanti, con sandali estivi (ovviamente senza calze), maglie sopra l'ombelico (perchè??) giacche in cotone e foulard colorati e leggeri. Vi mostro le foto che sono riuscita a scattare prima che un attacco di tosse violenta (seriamente) mi allontanasse da mio posto, tenuto in "caldo" per quasi 45 minuti di attesa. Sfiga?? Forse no. Capirete andando un pò più giù il perchè..

Missoni, one of my beloved brand, always preserv always a part of University for public that wants to see the fashion show too. Unfortunately, maybe for cold, models made catwalk for us just at the end of the show when they walk all togheter. It's ok, it was beautiful too. Tissues were light and loose, pastel colors, fringes and volant fighting against the S/S trends seen in September and some of the guest, crazy I think 'cause it was freezy, wearing summer sandals without socks, t-shirt above the belly (why??), cotton jackets and colorfull and silked foulard. I show you some pics I shooted during the show before a cough attack took me and leaving my place from the row. Bad luck? Maybe not.. You'll understand little bit down why I'm not desperate..

Quando lo specchio diventa amico..

Ragazze Babbo Natale esiste. E lavora da Shiseido. Chi non ha mai sognato di avere un pò di tempo per star davanti lo specchio a sperimentare tanti tipi di make up per poi scegliere quello perfetto? Io almeno si. Ma il problema non è solo il tempo quanto il fatto che dovremmo truccarci e struccarci in continuazione e la nostra pelle griderebbe aiuto.

Girls Santa exsist. And he works for Shiseido. Who never dream to have a little bit more time to try all the kind of make up and choose the perfect one? I do. But the problem is not just the time but also that we should make up and clean up again and again stressing our skin.
